ChurchNI is an online project with a desire to unite, strengthen, and encourage the body of Christ in Northern Ireland. When we use the word 'church' we don't mean the building you visit each Sunday. We mean you... the individuals, communities, plants, home groups, big, small, loud, quiet, young and the not so young. We are 'the church'.
We believe there could be nothing more beautiful and powerful than a united church in Northern Ireland. A community where people are connected, inspired and equiped to usher in the Kingdom of God. Where the isolated feel a sense of belonging and the needy find open hands ready to help. That is our prayer today and it will be our prayer tomorrow. We believe the Bible is the Word of God. It is true, powerful and relevant to our lives. We believe everyone is born with the problem of sin that separates us from God. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the price He paid once at Calvary is enough for all time.
For many years the focus in our country has been what separates the church rather than what unites us. While our individual convictions and values should be respected they shouldn't be a stumbling block to reaching the bigger goal.
If the church can see past the things which separate us we believe there is something far more glorious (than tradition, religion and mindsets). His name is Jesus. Our unity is found in His promised coming, faultless life, undeserved death and awesome resurrection.

Is ChurchNI a new church?
Absolutely not. We exist to unite, strengthen, and encourage the church family already established within Northern Ireland.
Is ChurchNI part of a demonination?
No. We are individuals from a wide range of backgrounds who consider the name of Jesus to be of more value than the labels people attach to us through denominations.
How can I get involved?
In these early days you can play your part by joining us on Facebook or Twitter (or even both).
Can my church support ChurchNI?
Yes! We would love churches, ministries, organisations to show they're support by telling others about us.
What's the plan?
Initially we want to get individuals united through prayer. Prayer work. It's that simple. If you have a need we'd love to back you up with prayer and faith for your situation.
Is it just online?
At the moment, yes. But someday we'd love to be in a position to gather all you beautiful people together in some totally non-religious but God glorifying way.
